I don;t want to poke fun in anyway, but what about the story of the prodigal son.. I know I shouldnt really be offering advice or counselling, but does he not deserve another chance?
Such a fantastic piece of prose, very descriptive and analogical.. I like the way each of the four lines of each verse rhymes.. It brings you deeper and deeper!
I really love the chronological order of this piece.. The more you read the worse 'she' gets and the more you feel empathy for the writer! I'm guessing from my own experience of feelings that this is a true story.
Just when you think somebody cannot get any worse, they do.
A definite warning to the next unsuspecting victim in the final verse, good use of words and prose!
Lol, that reminds me of my first ever relationship. Some things we men just ever won't know the answer to because it really is a womans world out there. That's quite well put across as well, congrats on that one :)
Hearts are fallible, just like ourselves.. I love the analogy of being as light as a feather, when usually there burdens which make us feel as heavy as a mountain.. That is a lovely piece of writing, it's short and to the point.
