Kare, I love this poem, maybe because I can relate to it. My husband and I married late too (after unsuccessful previous marriages). Ours is never perfect but despite of the disagreements at times, we still care for each other. And yes, even late marriages work!
Co-signing for my daughter's student loan has put me in a situation wishing that I would not done it. But then, every one needs someone once in while to help them out, and my daughter needed me.
Okay, so what response are you waiting? Let me ask you a hypothetical question- what do you have to offer to this person that you are interested in at your work? I mean, are you just wanting her to be the "other" person in your life?
Thank you so much for sharing your story- your husband and Jewell. I could imagine what you were going through during those times, not knowing what happened and where Jewell was and at the same time worrying about your husband. I am very glad for the happy ending.
This poem sent chills up to my bones. My heart aches for kids who seem not being heard, or someone who do not anyone to go to, someone who are being harmed by the people who are supposed to protect them. May tomorrow won't be too long for them to see, may tomorrow will be brighter for them.

I thank the anonymous donor who paid for the upgrade of my membership.
