This is so true in a lot of ways. I think a lot of people do not see themselves as the bully if they are not the ones doing or pushing or the ones saying the words. We are just as bad by not saying anything. We allow our fear to stop us from helping. I have taught my children that being different is not something to be made fun of. Whether it is a different size, color, physical attributes. That is the type of people we need to raise. The type to stand up for others who are too shy, too weak, the ones who are unable to even understand that they are being bullied. I hate to see videos on Face Book with teens fighting and the parent it there to egg them on. I do think bullying is getting out of hand but I also think some people do over react when it is "Just kids being kids". I guess that is a fine line.
I really did like this poem as it told a story that I am sure we can all relate to some of these in ourselves.
