Full of surprises. I'm intrigued by these shifters, hope they are explained in more detail later on. Makes sense that Athenais likes fighting since she heals so quickly. I can imagine that after seven thousand years she only really feels alive when she's brawling. I'm so glad there's another chapter.
It's just getting better and better. I love the way you build up the suspense. I'm really concerned for safety of Ragnar and the Captain. I'm kind of upset that the Potion turns out to be a bad thing as I have always rather liked the idea of immortality but I suppose the next chapter will explain it more.
Great story! I'm hooked. Reading this first chapter I felt as if I was actually sitting in ‘The Shop’ having a drink and smoking tanga-weed while watching the drama unfold. Athenais is an intriguing character. Excellent use of language. I'm gonna read Chapter 2 right away.
