Excellent work.
The freedom that comes from realizing the warrior's battle has always really been with the self is beautiful and in that there is hope. Well expressed.

Thanks for sharing this. I hope you will take a moment to let me now what you think about my work.

Review of For Worse  Open in new Window.

Greetings Alanaluv,

First of all, my general impression is I really like this piece.
Here is my impression of what it had to show me.

How very easy it is to have your own innate worth drowned out by the din of conventional thought and experience. I could feel her sense of self helpless against it. The bells secretly knowing her shame of givng in, the lock of confusion that is insincere apology, the well meaning but oppressive expectations of the crowd, the false hope that she could ever choose for him.
In the end she does not consciously realize that she will suffer in her lessons with this man. That in her path with him it will be her that learns to cry, and she will follow that trail of tears and pain back to herself and her own innate worth in the end. She gets into the limo and a part of her knows, the bells know that she chose this path to self and committed herself to it more than to him when she said "I do".
Hope this makes sense...I have been told that my take on things can seem a little "out there" even though it makes perfect sense to me.
I think it is very well done.
Peace to All Souls
