I loved reading this piece! Your words invoked smiles and the feelings of tears, as well, with this touching remembrance. I'm sure he's smiling at you knowing the tough time you must've experienced while writing this, and moving forward despite the emotional challenge.
I loved the various recaps of hobbies and favorite things your grandfather enjoyed doing. And I want to thank you for posting it, sharing it with us all, sharing his memory with us if only briefly. Great job!
Such sweet words you've written! Also they're very true. Your lyrics made me smile in remembrance of the suffering I endured until I found the right one. Strange how sometimes you have to go through hell to find your heaven.
There's one suggestion I might make...on the line "Without your picture I don't think I'd do this anymore", it seems the meter's off a little on this. I'm not the biggest poetry/lyrical judge, trust me. It seems, in my humble opinion, that it might flow better by saying, "Without your picture I couldn't do this anymore."
Other than that...I truly enjoyed reading this and I hope wherever your future wife is that she'll come across this. And maybe, just maybe, it'll lead her to you. :)
Good job! I'm glad you can write the happy stuff. My gift lies in writing the darker, sad and gloomy writing. Have a great week!

The pain expressed in your pain brought me to the point of tears! So many suffer from this horrible affliction, but never seek the help they need.
Referring to the clock ticking slowly around is well expressed in regards for time passing ever so slowly, barely seeming to move. For most people it's hard to deal with, but for anyone that's this depressed...it must be a hundred times worse!
Personally, I think you're written words accurately describe moments and emotions of a severely afflicted soul.
This is a good question to ask ourselves introspectively. Have we discovered our poetic voice and wherein does the strength of it show the most.
I myself favor the darkness and pain compared to happy way of things. I've never really experienced the truly unhappy things, but those are the feelings that I can easily bring to life. It's strange because I'm a pretty happy person who lives with happiness, though I guess we grab inspiration where we can and don't question it.
Good quiz for anyone who either knows or doesn't know their voice. If anything, it'll have you asking yourself about the poetic voice inside. At least that's my opinion of things. Keep on quizzing!
