I'll try to make this one an actual review,
Your word choice is limited, but that might be on purpose, I'm mentioning it because it jumped out at me in the first three lines,
Your metaphors are beautiful,
"Except the lights
And the people who gather like desperate pale moths around them" is one of my favorite lines.
Another good Item, Keep writing and I'll keep reading.
