This was simply a riveting piece of campfire magic. I was whole-heartedly impressed with the characters and their growth. The premise seemed so simple that I worried at first it might be fun but lose momentum. Yet, the story kept me glued to my seat wondering what would happen with each new developing challenge. I don't know if it was intentional but Varamance was easily the most compelling and exciting character even though he wasn't a main one of the authors which was an excellent idea! I laugh at myself a bit thinking about it, but I was reading faster sometimes wondering when another detailed fight would break out with him involved as your writers got so creative with the details and abilities.
I'm curious why the shift happened with authors but it was a great take-over! Write on guys and girls! Write on!
