Hi Master OM,
I liked your piece on leadership and coaching versus teaching. As a relatively recent writer I wonder sometimes whether I need a teacher or a coach or both. I know I can tell a story, however I have never gone to a writing class or for that matter joined a writing group. In my working life I found it difficult to take orders and that is why I spent most of my working life running my own business. I think that was because I was battered on a daily basis in primary school which damaged my confidence. Times were different back in the sixties. What I have learned since then is if you are in a leadership position, whether it is teaching ,coaching or even parenting. The most important
thing to instil is encouragement. Encouragement breeds confidence. What ever you want to do you can do it provide you work hard. Don't wait, don't procrastinate. Procrastination is the thief of time.

Dear Prosperous snow,
What can I say about this ditty. I like it. It's funny in a tongue in cheek way. The poetic license has been taken to the nth degree with that last line. Of course it is a parody of Christmas and there is plenty of room in this world for parody. There should be more of it. We should be laughing more in this messed up world. I certainly laughed at this poem.

I loved the description in the story. I felt like I was there. You created strong tension and I felt that you knew or had experienced a combat situation. The bleepers obviously were about as useful as a chocolate teapot .Nice ending. .
