As I read this I could feel all those things coming back so vividly, the despair that sleep deprivation brings and not know how you're going to keep going until the baby lets you sleep. Very well written, in my opinion, and gives a voice to the things a mother thinks but doesn't say. Motherhood is wonderful overall, but we all need to have a release from the things that are terrible about it. I appreciate your story very much.
Great story, I really enjoyed reading every part of it! I don't think anyone ever forgets their first love and those feelings stick with you no matter how old you get. I think you really captured the uncertainty, the emotion and the depth of that young true love. I loved it!
My only suggestion is to watch how many sentences you start with "I". It's something that I have trouble with and it takes conscious effort to vary. But, don't get me wrong, I think your story is very good how it is written and the language you use.
