I have read others in this series but did not personally like this read.
This is my personal taste though. I found the poem very haunting but the rest of the read was like a report and so maybe it is to be that way but it was factual and alittle boring.
Sorry but tis my personal opinion.
A very tense story ending in despair that leaves you angry and sad.
Very well written with depth that makes you want to continue reading.
I wanted more for the main character but it's not the story being told.
I hated the father and great job as the writer reaches your emotions and taps at your emotions leaving you with feelings of deep anger and also love bubbling up.
I wanted to make it better for Jon.
The story seems to come from a family in the late 50's setting and is quite sterotyped for that era.
No complaints except maybe do a p.s. note saying Jon became famous and his brother a bum. :o)
A sad piece that is haunting. Moving in it's expert way to make the reader feel and dig for meaning as the reader contemplates the words.
I find the writing genius and earthly bound but wanting in escape.
I don't actually care for pieces like this because it emplores one self to consider the depths of their own life, asking questions that one does not want the answer too.
I about cried when I read it. I felt some of the pain like she was trapped and no way to escape. I believed I wanted to find a way for her to escape so bad.
It was powerful and gave me feeling of helplessness as I myself read wanting to help her.
Perfection indeed.
Not a poem to enjoy but a poem to look into another soul's pain.
I absolutly love the story. You could make a short film with it. I loved it, I was right there. I could picture your friend.
I got that imagined friends leaves us and its so sad. I liked that the sixteen year old bounced between playful imagined friend and sanity. Dang that was great work.
I saw no real errors that merit pointing out. I look forward to more of your work.
I think this author is very insightful and different in their approach to writing.
I had to read it 2x to get the meaning but I am slow to grasp at times.
A thinking poem that has wonderful merit.
I would love to read more of this persons work.
