I get that Reggi turned to a group that would make him feel powerful, what I don’t understand is what all this had to do with faith. I could not make the connection. I did enjoy the fact that the race of Reggi is unknown. That is very important to me because it fights against racial profiling, which leads to racial tension. Keep writing, keep honing your craft.
Wow, what a cool narrative. At first i was thinking Ok this chick is a ghost, but as I continued to read I got it. What a sad, touching, story. It actually raised an anger in me for the poor girl. Child slavery is a touchy subject becasue so many poeple want to turn a blind eye to it becasue it is just to painfull to try and wrap a brain around. You brought this dire way of life to light in a very creative way. I really liked the ending, it was as if the reader was seeing into the insanity and despair that was growing in the poor girl's mind. Two thumbs up!! Keep up the great work, and great prospective.
