I like this. The narrative isn't particularly original but it is well done.

If I have any critiscism it is about the ending. Too abrupt.

I'm conflicted with this. On the one hand it paints, what is most likely a valid image of our many homeless. Yet somehow it comes across as though the writer has not truly experienced what they are trying to convey. Begging for love yet presenting a foregone conclusion that there is no love to be had. Still in all it is a piece worthy of continuing to refine.
