This reminds me of a mix of several horror books I've read about carnivals and what not. I can't remember all of the details. It's always interesting to see something innocent and cheerful turned dark and scary. It feeds on a very primal fear of what we love and trust turning on us
Wow. What a thrilling read! I go tthis on Random Read, and very glad I did. It makes me wonder what would happen to original people should mass production cloning become readily available and public knowledge. As over-populated as this world already is, I don't expect that to happen any time soon, but a story like this does give pause to consider what might happen to humanity if such a thing were to happen
