I couldn't help but to sing along with some of the lyrics. It was a bit tricky but I could match the tone and the refrain and others to when it came up.

This guy really is something, making music like this. And the lyrics are really beautiful and fitting. There's always some truth and power behind music, and this definitely has both. Now all you need is a band or something to play and sing this song.

I recall the difficulty of trying to write. It's sound advice here, yet what really brings it out is the author's reluctance and confusion to said advice. I think that's something we ALL feel at one point or another, trying to think what to write. In the end, writing is something only you can take full liberty of and shouldn't get told WHAT to write, just ENCOURAGED to write what you like. The ending here, what she decided to write, was an interesting thing for her to write, and falls for the theme of writing for yourself, and taking the first step to that. Other than that, I believe this is a nice piece you've written here, like a mental reminder to everyone on this site and beyond, who ponders from time to time the same question.
