I've never reviewed anyone else's work before. I've always been my own worst critic. Having not been writing long myself, I feel like I don't have the correct experience to critique.

Having read this, I felt I had to say something.

You've created an interesting rural fantasy here, reminiscent of some of T. H. White's Once and Future King.

You've filled the tale with emotion and sympathetic characters, not easy for me to do with so few words.

I'm no editor, so I'll say nothing more here.
