This is a very well written story. It had me from the get go. I liked your characters and your descriptions of them. I liked that the boy was so intelligent, but I wondered why he didn't run to his father, like most kids would've done. But...your story is rich in detail that keeps those things not as noticeable. Thank you for a very good story.
I thought your poem paid great homage to a very talented author. I liked your verse & your rhyme, both very catchy. You did well describing his scary prose in rhyme. I seriously doubt I could've come up with such a rhyme or put it together as well. Very nice job!
