I really found myself moved by the small, short phrases in this poem. To me they read as if they were spoken between sobs. That was very emotional and moving. Then at the end, as the poem is offering support, the phrases get longer, almost indicating that the sobs are over. It's as if once the words get stronger, the narrartor gets stronger as well. Small phrases flow into full sentances and there's a sense of resolution at the end....
... at least that's how it read to me :)

Wow... extremely emotional experience reading this. And it all goes by in the blink of an eye, doesn't it? I just re-read it about five times while sitting here, trying to pick out my favorite line, or the line that would have the most emotional reaction from me, but I couldn't.
