This poem touches my heart. I lived in many foster homes, after the death of my Mom who died when I was young, buried on my sixth birthday. I know how hurtful words can be and I try with all my will never to offend or hurt anyone, yet I know I often fail. Way to often words spoken hurts us deeply and too often we don't even realize how deep the wound goes and how we too often cause people to be offended or hurt by the words we say! Funnyface

Good evening unclarry this is Funnyface. I just read your short story about "A Mothers Love.. I really liked this story and I could relate to it as when I was 5/6 I lost my Mom. Before she faced death she was so concerned for her five young children, and just as the Mother flew arounind to find her young, I can recall my Mother calling to my two older siblings to help her find her young ones.We were out hiding so we wouldn';t need to go inside and see our Mom die.. My Mom died when i was nearly 6 leaving three hoy/s ages 14, 12, and 4 and two girls my sister who was just a small baby and myself who was nearly 6 , My Mom was buried on my 6th birthday, We were very lonely and we didn't see much of the family. My only friends were the birds, and bees . I am pleased my older brothers taught about the birds and bees in the trees...We were no longer lonely! The Mother showed deep courage when she went hunting for her babes!Your story is truly about a Mothers love!

Hello ItsAlwaysTheQuietOnes, this is Funnyface, I just read your poem "Frozen I Stand Frozen I Lay" and my heart started beating so strongly. I just cannot picture any one pointing a gun at anyone. How horrible you must have felt and how scared you would be. I hope you never encounter another situation like this again!.
.Another Friday is a heart touching poem! There are so many who pretend that life is full of love and joy but that is seldom the case. How hard it must be for a family to have their hopes and dreams crushed. What wonderful descriptive writing you used here as you showed through your words.the way many people need to live. I don't know how they survive, especially young ones. . I really like your writing!
Hello Deborah Palmer this is Funnyface is happy to be back I just read your story of "Life With Depression."
Some of the things that you went through probably was the cause of your depression. I am so sorry that you had to face all this in such a short time. I was really surprised and my heart reached out to you at the death of your Dad. It read as if you didn't realize that he was dying. . My Mom passed away when I was still five, she died of TB. and we were waiting for it to occur, but it made us all very sad when it happened. There is a void in a person that happens when one of our love ones pass on. Losing your Dad was one thing but then for you to cope with moving, having your cousin and aunt move in with you and watch your Mom moving on with her life and dating . I am sure that put a lot of stress on you!. I can not tell what will help or cure your depression, but if you ever want to talk I am here, Hugs of comfort!

What a wonderful tribute written about your Australian Cattle Dog . I think my dog is such a great animal, she is loyal, loving and very kind. For the last two years she has had to share her home with two other adults another dog and two cats, but I don;t think she would know how to herd cattle.
