I'm sorry for your loss...Sorrow is a great inspiration. I knwo two twins who lost their father to cancer. He had buit them a giant treehouse and was the main source of income in the family. After he passed away they had to move, leaving behind the treehouse and one of the things that made him seem very much alive. But I doubt they will forget the great man that he was and is. Some of the most memorable people had/have cancer. Your father is one of them. God bless you and your family.
Funny...I used to think that my dad was a bad writer. My mom disagrees. She thinks I get the love for writing from him! He doesn't like it though. Sometimes he's my worst critic. He doesn't think out of the box. Maybe your dad is creative, he just doesn't show it.
You know, I used to be proud that my ancestors fought in the Civil War, but now, I'm sort of ashamed. I mean, I know they were brave, but they were Confederates. We are all equal, and I am really glad that you wrote something about that it is really cool to know that someone besides me finds the Civil War era interesting and many sided.
Sweet, very sweet... I wish that one of my friends boyfriends would of treated her like that. Instead, she got a guy who followed her around and commented about video games. He was in love with her, but he was annoying. She deserves more than that and much much more.
