I read it twice. The second read was better. A lovely poem. The only issue I had was with this line: "shed the tears we've always hoped to see". I get the idea behind it but it doesn't seem to fit, for me, anyway. If you haven't yet fallen in love then how can you be ready to cry together? Like I said, it's probably just me.
I love the line: "you'd change the face of the earth for me". It seems to sum up the message of the poem which I really liked.
