Hi...
There are many who simply rip off Lovecraft's style, and come off pretentious and obvious about it (but then, none of them are likely to give a tip of the hat in the descriptions beneath their titles, as you did!). You are certainly not one of them, and I can't even tell you how refreshing that is. This is its own story, and perhaps more importantly (as should be the case in a work inspired by the master of horror)...it is replete with atmosphere. An equal balance of subtlety and detail to effectively create an appropriate atmosphere is what all other aspects of a story depend on. You pulled this off nicely! Nothing about it felt contrived. I wanted to see more of Miss Tepes...I don't know what exatly, but something. You know what, though? I'm glad you didn't give any more. Nothing's "tidied up." Start with mystery, end with mystery. Love it!
I felt like I was robbing you of the GPs though, as I thoroughly enjoyed this.
Take care.
