In the short time that I have been a member of the WDC community I have read lots of things and reviewed a few but never have I ever felt that something I read deserved and 5 rating... until NOW! I am not sure I can adequately sum up how I feel but I shall try nonetheless. The emotions that your story pulls from me are deep ones, I felt the fear of the unknown and the purest of love. I don't think I have ever read something that made me feel like this has and I have read my entire life. I would have liked for it to be longer yet when it ended I felt a completeness (if thats even a word...lol)
If there was an award I could give you I would!!
I plan to check the rest of your work and see if they are all this good. I hepe you have a long and successful writing career
Deb~
What a emotional read! I could really feel what the girl felt, the fear and the wishing someone could save her. I felt the draw to the room her brother felt, all of it. I my humble opinion this is a fantastic read, I was just browsing and found it, and I am very glad I did. I hope to read more like this.
this was a really interesting story. I could almost feel the calm river water flowing as I read it. I to love to fish and I felt drawn to description of the area and the way the water was flowing, the feeling of fighting and releasing the fish. You have a nice style of writing for me because it flows like the river, beautifully!
What a super story! It touched my heart to read it and I am sure that the folks growing up in and around taht house were affected by all of the love bursting forth from Roma.
Thanks for such a sweet read.
I really liked reading this story, it is fast-paced and flows nicely. It made me smile and sympathize with the guy. I liked it that he does what some of us would like to do in the same situation, but don't. If a sound was making me crazy I can totally see myself doing similar things without worrying about the havoc being created by the search.
Each bit of the story drew me to the next, waiting to see what would happen next, wondering along with him what the heck the sound was.
Great Job
