Man, this was beautiful. I cried to this. I pray that one day a man feels this for me and I for him and to feel the joy and pain of having children. Love is so powerful and heartbreaking at the same time. The things we go through as children wondering why our parents say and do certain things all come back from your are a parent yourself. Thank you for this.

The potential of this piece is great. I love a good romance and with a ninjas! Win-win! Something that you want to look out for when writing a story is deciding which voice is going to carry the narration. It can swift back and forth throughout your novel but there must be a break between so the reader can know who is speaking. Keep up the good work!

This is beautiful, simple, and leaves the reader wanting more of your sadness. Truly Gothic romance especially with the ending, was that your intent? Or is this about suicide? The only thing I was hung up on was the second verse "My family must break, but I shall not quake." I don't understand it.
