Very interesting. I've had similar experiences to what you describe so eloquently in this poem. The layout is a little weird, and it feels more like prose than poetry. The way in which someone can deter our apathy and bring a dash of colour to our existence is a seldom exploited topic. You should write more about this, and perhaps pursue this person.
