I really liked the style of this. I thought the concept of a letter to one's self was very creative, and it kept me engaged right from the start. I like the attitude you set at the beginning: why wait until New Year's to change something if you don't like it. Just my two cents here: there's so many people who try to call themselves aspiring writers nowadays, especially on the internet, and so I felt I could definitely relate to what you were saying about highlighting sentences in certain books which may never even be opened again. It seems there's more and more great literature to read now than ever before.
