This is an interesting story to say the least. Reading the tale left me pondering a lot about everything in life and how our brains sometimes work against us.
The story is a bit slow paced in my opinion because of all the descriptions but I understand your need to set the scene and take the readers into the narrators mind.
A bit more information in the history of the asylum would be quite interesting too.
I loved the twist at the end!
