This is wonderful, and different from other stories that are of a similar vein.
I particularly like the line: "But sometimes I wonder if Goliath was just to f***ing stupid to duck."
I laughed out loud.
Technically I can't see any problems - no spelling errors, or grammatial problems, and the dialogue flows along really nicely. It doesn't stutter or jar when you read it. I am left at the end undecided either way as to the speaker's sanity, which is not easy to do in this type of story.
I think I'd like him to be sane.. monsters and all.
