A lovely poem! A lot of emotions are at play, here, which is of course the point of poetry, but the way you convey them is truly unique to you :)
My favourite line is definitely “A choreography of words”. It’s as if the words engage in a waltz, dancing on the blank page like an army of tiny ballerines!
Well, well, this type of story telling through letters is usually something I dislike, but you delivered this one perfectly, in my humble opinion.
This added so much more to the story and I was wondering, wait...is he going to mail this letter to a dead guy? And how the Hel did he receive a response!?
The story is so well written that at one point I even (again!) forgot that the character was actually writing a letter. I read with wide eyes through the whole thing and even managed to forget the title of your story (which means the ending had me surprised!). Anyone who ignores what is an incubus is missing a great deal of what this means for the main character!
I've practically no idea what's going on in there, but I still like it! The tone of it is very enjoyable :3
It's nostalgic! Feels all about and smooth~
And you see, /this/ is kinda a fairy tale! So why not add it to the category? I think it'd fit a lot to the genre.
Wow. This was so incredibly strong. And beautiful. And very emotional as well, you had me with a tiny tear in the eye, ah!
My grandmother's partner has alzheimer, and so this touched me very much. I am aware he might become like Joyce is in this story.
But still, let them live what they have to live and depart when they have to depart.
So wonderfully written, much power, subtle and smooth.
Keep up the nice work.
Aah, now this is very nicely done, my friend :)
The atmosphere swallows your head whole...but you keep going!
It fits you a lot, I think, even though it's a character? Anywho, love your choice of words with your smooth writing style.
Don't fret about the darkness of events, light up a candle and keep walking!
A classic! Simply amazing. It had such power and energy I couldn't stop reading, for I really like that sort of story, really my type.
It felt nostalgic to me, I must say, as if the kids were from a time like the 1970's or 1980's.
Overall well written and it had me stressing at some points!
Kudos~
