Great trivia about a children's author whom so many of us adults (and, surely, kids, too) think we know but probably actually know very little, including the correct pronunciation of his name. And I liked your "deeper-thinking" questions relating to a select number of his individual stories and your encouragement to reconsider and/or more closely examine the assertion that he was not particularly fond of children.
