This was a very interesting story to read. I love the visuals that are being painted even when describing the field that the main character wakes up in. It's almost like you're there too. Overall, I loved this story, and I hope to see more of it soon. :)

Review of Trust  Open in new Window.

A positive look into trust in other people. When I see other people write anything about trust, it's mostly about how easily it can be broken. Or it's seen as a negative thing when taken to the extreme. But this a nice refreshing look into trust as a whole. :)

This written almost like a cute love letter to someone. I get the feeling that this is a form of unrequited love that is finally coming to a conclusion due to this now being written. I could see this being shown in a romantic drama or in the sadder parts of a romcom. :)

Review of SUMMERTIME BLUES  Open in new Window.

Surprisingly short read as the title suggests. But it still leaves room for the reader to imagine the world behind the poem and the image that the author wanted to create with their work. Overall a very refreshing review for me to go through and enjoy. :)

This was a pretty interesting read for me. In my time as a short-lived poet and ongoing aspiring writer, I've never come across a tongue twister poem before. Even the small educational bit on the bottom was nice as well for those who may not understand this form of poetry. :)

It's interesting how you accumulated all of your musical knowledge and compiled it all into one comprehensive piece. It shows your interesting creative process as you go on to think of musical ideas in your head. It was also very fascinating to read overall. :)

Review of Goodnight  Open in new Window.

Just a cute conversation between a father and son on the logic on the Easter Bunny and whether or not he was real. I remember similar conversations with my parents about Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy when I was younger. Cute short flash fiction! :)

Review of Final Project  Open in new Window.

I love this approach to sustainability in cities that are urban or even in states or counties as a whole that are post-developed. This looks like a class assignment, but you could even take it further and turn this idea into a fully fleshed out story with this idea of sustainability. :)

Review of Moving  Open in new Window.

It has a pretty good setup for what could be a romantic comedy. I also love the idea of reminiscing on the past as you go through an old house or apartment that you shared with someone. It just adds to the nostalgia of said environment. Fun story! :)

This is a very interesting concept for a story. The way the different characters are represented and described made this a curious read for me. And that isn't bad by any means; curious reads like this capture people's attention for different reasons, good and bad (although I choose to look at it as good). Love the cliffhanger as well. :)

Review of The Fix  Open in new Window.

At first I convinced myself that this was the story of an underappreciated housewife with a 50's era vibe to it. But learning that the story represented how much moms are underappreciated made this story even better of a read for me. I am unsure if this was the original intention, but that was what I got out of this story. :)

Review of Can You?  Open in new Window.

I love how I almost felt like this, as a whole, felt like a story of foreseen unrequited love. You're wondering if the other person is feeling the same way that you feel about them whenever the two of you are together. And although you can't control how the other feels, you still keep your fingers crossed for positive results. Overall, I love this very much. :)

Review of My cheerleader  Open in new Window.

A short reflection on a really good friend. The way she is described as being hard working while still maintaining a life with her son and earning her college degree online is baffling in the best way possible. We as the readers can see just how amazing of a person she is, and I'm sure she's happy to know you. :)

Review of What did I do  Open in new Window.

I was genuinely shocked as I got to the end of this flash fiction. Usually, when I see someone describing a person as having "her beautiful face submerged in the puddle of her own blood", I'm immediately going to think of a love interest. But the subversion of expectations was a banger for me. I look forward to more of your work, and I would love to see more stories or flash fiction stories with this kind of expectation diversion. This person could even become a character in a horror novel detailing the murder of their mom. Just an idea I'm throwing out there. Overall, a great read. :)
