An excellent argument made, however, there has also been parts of the bible which people 'assumed' to be true, which science has then proved wrong. No human is old enough to witness the creation of the earth, but then again, it has been proved in testings how the earth can be made, including life. Now I don't claim to know much, but I recall an experiment to see what happens when we combine the early atmosphere of the earth together. after the test, scientists discovered basic amino acids and proteins had formed,the 'building blocks' of life, so in my opinion, life's just a happy accident.

Nice. I can tell you were definately in the mood for this sort of writing. I like the use of alliteration of caustic carcenogen, not just because it was fun to say when I read it out loud, it was very emotive. plus the comparing of your life to a cesspool of emotion, good use of metaphor.
