This is a smashing story and well-written. I can find little to fault. The happy ending was a surprise I didn't expect. I had no idea what a box cutter was. Obvious really. You learn something new every day.
I found this a very heart-lifting poem.
To deal with death, our own and others will always be difficult.
Imagination, remembrance and moving forward with honesty, are a help for certain.

The tale is written well enough, but I don't think my type of review will help much.
This is a strange tale. Quite why it centres on astronomy I cannot imagine for astronomy has very little to do with it as far as I can tell. There again, I could well have missed something.
I found it a bit vague. Who was the other lover? Why compare stars in the Universe to the face of a person? The two seem incompatible.
I think this story is too poetic for me to properly get my head round.
