Emotional, sad and honestly depicts the horrors of prejudice and war. Thankfully, I hope, we are living in a better place and time. I like the story and the moral, but do think that editing is needed. That said, I find your story, thought provoking. Thank you for sharing.
Well written. I totally understand your "cyber-friendship". I joined a support forum four years ago after surviving brain surgery. Thanks to a brain tumor, I have made friends on and off line, from all over the WORLD! I've hosted four marathons and four luncheons in the tri-state area, bringing survivors and their families together to meet, greet, eat and weep annually.(talk about meeting friends in strange places). Last May, one hundred and five people of all ages and walks of life gathered to celebrate LIFE. The founder of this organization is a published writer from Colorado. Her administrator is from Australia. These two amazing women have become my dear friends, both on and off line. Thanks to our love of writing, a lump in my head and the internet, we managed to for lifetime friendships. "What a Wonderful World"!
