I'm really happy that a major hurdle has been routed in the writing of my next novel. It is to be a story of good vs. evil, but I was having a lot of trouble figuring out how the bad guys came up with their ideas for their evil deeds. The story is very Biblical and the bad guys do things that are found in it, but I couldn't figure how to get them to read it. It suddenly came to me this week (thanks, God! the author of all inspiration). I then wondered how to get the information I would need to write the background properly. God once again plopped a source into my lap. Guess He wants this story written. Better get to work! |
Now that I have two short story collections up on Amazon (Once Upon a Christmastime and Standing Next To A Miracle), I'm working on my third collection and a novel at the same time. I'm also blogging and Facebooking. Good thing I'm retired. I'd never have time to do what I want, although dealing with my various siblings' bouts with cancer right after mine have proved challenging, since I'm transportation, support, and nurse (not to mention security blanket). But hey, it's all grist for the mill, and writing is great for relieving stress. |
