I have achieved so much, AND I've retired, but now find I still can't keep up with what needs to be done. I want to do more writing. I want to get back to writing new songs. I want to be successful in my new business Vicki's Basic Computer Training so I can help others not be intimidated by the whirlwind events of technology as they change nearly every day!!!

I have a new dog named Cinderella, a purebred Australian Shepherd. I got her in January 2024, after I retired December 22, 2023. I wouldn't get another dog after losing my precious Pearl on May 4th, 2023 to lymphoma at 11 and a half years old, until I retired because I knew I was working too many hours and gone from the house way too long each day to treat them fairly. Little did I know that I would have a sudden drop one night of 57 glucose number, which is around comatose state!!! Thus my desire to get a service animal. Little did I know my nephew Chris and his wife Sheri would have "Sin" there for me at the right time. I changed her spelling to Cin, for the princess name Cinderella. After all, this dog does go to church every Sunday, and one cannot be "bringing Sin into the building!!!"

Maybe I'll be able to start doing more writing now that my house exterior has been painted thanks to Todd. And the 12x14 back deck has been stained finally, thanks to Todd and myself getting it done!!
Wow, three days ago, after just turning 70 years old on March 23rd, I have completed my pursuit to be a PMP, Project Management Professional, from the Project Management Institute, with global certification. It took me two years, but I've really done it!!!! The course exam was changed midstream and required me to train in Agile and other programs to finish it. But I did it!!!! Vicki Lynne
Today I made the PMP Exam appointment for April 3rd at 10am, which will be in Marietta at a building called Kennestone Corporate Center on 1279 Kennestone Circle, Suite 100, Marietta, Ga 30066. It will be a 4 hour time to take the test. There are three attempts allowed between now and the 27th (I think) of January 2022.

Yet again, another milestone for me to attain!!! Even though by then, I will be 69 years of age and within two months of turning 70, another milestone.
Oh my gosh! I didn't remember writing that, but glad I found it because it's only been 3 days ago April 23, 2022, that I actually took the third and final attempt at the test and I PASSED IT, with all three categories as above targets!!!!! I'm now a Certified Project Management Professional!!!

Today I read a requested reply about my essay on Huckleberry Finn, which was great to receive in itself. The reviewer "Beholden" made a statement at the end that was very point-on about my life, always being observant of what reactions I might get, and it has personally censored something I would have said or done.
So much schoolwork. Not enough writing time, or outside time, or life. And what's it all for anyway?

Still in school, and so ready to begin writing again, rather than dealing with Algebra!!!! That's all that's left to get my DEGREE in Business Administrative Technology!

My thoughts:

Candle That Never Melts

Gift(s) That Always Return
One must breathe to write. One writes to breathe. Stress will soon dissipate like fog after a summer rain.
I need to do more writing again. The stress of life during the last 10 months has held me back from what I love to do. And the ironic thing is, is that writing releases that stress. So, why am I NOT?
