I've been challenged with one of my own tasks for "12 Days Of Christmas 2024" : my top 10 favorite Christmas movies. So, iKïyå§ama & Amethyst Snow Angel in no particular order . . . here we go! The Santa Clause - A holiday classic with Tim Allen. It's every kid's fantasy to have Santa be their father and Charlie actually got to experience it. Everything about this movie is awesome—the sets, the costuming, the casting, and the sense of Christmas magic and nostalgia it gives me. I'm only left with one question: exactly what was in Judy's hot cocoa that made it so delicious?! Polar Express - I've always loved the realistic animation in this film. The way characters move and interact is masterful. Because of this movie, every year I shake a jinglebell to see if I can still hear it ring. Annabelle's Wish - Before we had a murder doll named Annabelle, there was a sweet animated 90's film about about a young cow with a dream to be one of Santa's reindeer. Not many people seem to be familiar with this film which is a real shame. It's magical and wonderful. Jack Frost - Okay, fine. I'll admit it. I originally liked this movie because one of my first boy crushes was on child actor Joseph Cross. But with fellow cast mates Michael Keaton, Kelly Preston, and Mark Addy, this is a Christmas go-to for me. It's about a father returning to life as a snowman to help his grieving son. It's sad, happy, and funny—it hits you in all the feels. How The Grinch Stole Christmas - Jim Carrey at his finest. This is a must-watch! Another example of why we don't deserve dogs. Max is such a good boy! Jingle All The Way - Get to the choppa . . . I mean, the store to buy that toy your son wants! Right neow! Arnold in a comedic performance is funny for many reasons. In this movie, he must use everything he's learned in every past role to find that one special toy for Christmas. A Christmas Story - A kid that's fallen and can't get up. A tongue stuck to a flagpole. And shooting your eye out. Ahh, it must be Christmas! Elf - I usually dislike Will Farrell but he was perfect casting in this role! Santa? I know him! Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer - a Christmas classic! How can you not? Nightmare Before Christmas - Yep. Enough said! |

Prompt #1: A favourite book (As they say.... book lovers never go to bed alone.)
unless it's a horror story, in which case...
Prompt #2: Amor vincit omnia
as does hate.
Prompt #3: Sand
there are reasons to not make love on the beach.
My problem... 1.000 words is very long for me. I rarely use XGC so a GC limit is okay. I should write a YA story ASR rated.
I say this because children notice... even when they don't "know" about themselves or others. A worthy goal: to be banned in Oklahoma.
