I can't write much more than 15k in a day, and my entire family is sick right now, so I'm aiming to finish with 150k words, not my original goal of 250k. Thanks for the encouragement! |
You are doing so much better than I did. Last year I thought I could write 50k and only made it to 25k. I DIDN'T have sick family. Make sure you aren't being hard on yourself. You're doing great! |

Elycia Lee ☮ Reviewing ![]() My guess is it will end up between 75-150k when the rough draft is done. Then I also have 5 other projects waiting in the wings to make progress on before November is over. I have been writing at least 500 words per day for nearly two years now, so I will not stop writing no matter what ends up happening! |
Wow. You're so inspiring... ![]() ![]() |
OMG! Insane! I've been watching your progress! You're SO fast! How you reach 50k words by 6 Nov? ![]() |
Thank you, Elycia Lee ☮ Reviewing ![]() I have a strict schedule that I stick to - 45 minutes of writing and then a half hour break. I do 5-10 of these sessions a day depending on whether it's a weekday or weekend. I also have an in-depth outline so I know exactly what needs to be written next. For 4 out of the first 5 days of the month, either my husband or one of the grandmothers took my kids so I could write without as many distractions. |
Back after a long, long break to participate in the NaNoWriMo Prep Challenge. Getting so excited for NaNo!
