Loneliness Breeds Paranoia: the Book I'm writing got a new chapter tonight, but because I made that one for my eyes only, it disappeared and I cannot find it no matter what I try! |
I really don't remember; I took the option not to make a passkey, and decided not to put a title at the top, then I just spaced what happened next! Ah, but I finally went back and rewrote it. thanks for the hint, lol. Just learning about this complicated system format! |
Never mind! I rewrote the passage. Now I'm trying to separate chapters from other posts that are not chapters. How to make a folder??? I have to admit, I don't understand these categories. |
Well, it's nine "til it's too late" o'clock, Wednesday morning, in the good ole U.S. of A. And I just saw a Latino native of America speak his mind on FB. His impression of what is happening in our world today brought tears to my eyes, but not for reasons you might think. He stated that he was being accused of being divided from his race, because he stood with President Trump on the illegal immigration happening at our borders. He also derided those who are trying to stop our right to speak out and to defend those rights in our everyday lives. Freedom of speech has often made of us a divisive society, but in reality, it is the way we express ourselves and claim our individual beliefs. It is crucial to allow others to state their mind and it is also important to remember, in this, I consider our most confused time in history, to agree to disagree. No force or vile attempts to squelch the opinion of our fellow citizens should be allowed! I know that this right has often gotten me smh in unbelief and downright debilitated, because so many things in our country today do not line up with God's Book, the Bible--which comforts and guides those trained by it. In past days, all we did was state our case, then go our merry way. Today, however, people are resorting to violence, as if such things will deliver us into their hands and make us more agreeable to their beliefs. Anyone with any age or "wear and tear" on them will repeat this saying that many adopted in the 70's or so: "I may not agree with you, but I will defend your right to state what you believe." So it should be today. I believe that this is a right of our Country so that, should one so choose, he or she can speak those truths that "set at liberty them who are bruised, set the captives free"--those truths which make people glad to be alive. Don't let them take your guns, your gold, YOUR GOD or your words. Seek God to comfort and protect you always. --SamQ, 12/12/18 |
