Congratulations. :)
So I've decided to start my own publishing company. I am stoked for this. I can print my own books and so I was published by a traditional publisher.
I finally finished my book. I've submitted my book to the publishers that I feel would be the best fit for me. But if it doesn't get picked up by a traditional publisher I'm most definitely self-publishing. I feel my stories need to be read.

Good for you! I know how difficult it is to finish a project (to my own satisfaction), made even more difficult if it is my writing and not someone else's. I just published my wife's first novel (epub) and it's not as straightforward a process as some sites would make it seem, especially when you compare revenue streams, advertising costs, printing costs, and so forth.

Over the next month or so (I think) I'm going to be writing a piece or two of my opinions and observations of the self-publishing process as of 2016. After going through it myself and doing all the work, I'm not nearly as enamored with it as I once was, though it definitely has some benefits.

I wish you luck with your queries and submissions. Remind yourself to have patience.
It's been a long time since I posted on here. I'm happy to say though that my novel "The Gryphon (Book One of the Legendary Creature Saga)" is written. I'm in the revising process now. I'm hoping to have it published with in the next few months, God willing!
It's been three months since I've been on last but it feels like forever. How is everyone doing?
It's been awhile since I've been able to get on here. I've been super busy with working full time and going to school full time. I hate that it's consumed my life. My manuscript has come to a screaming halt. I have no time for my kids or my girlfriend, or at least that's the way it feels. Any encouraging words would be greatly appreciated. :(
Happy 4th of July everyone!! Be safe today!!
After a long bout of writer's block chapter 20 is done. And I'm truly happy because I know have a good idea where the story is going from here. I'm feeling very grateful for seeing the story more clearly.
Did some more work on Chapter 19. I have an idea on how this book will end. It's getting to that end that I'm having the difficulty with.
Work has recommenced on chapter 19 for "The Gryphon (Book One of the Legendary Creatures Saga)". It's getting closer to getting to the end of the book. I can't wait to be published.
I had a dream last night that I was battling my way out of Hell. Demons with red eyes and cloudy like bodies. I know it's been done 100 times before but does it sound like a good storyline for a book?
My day has been pretty productive today. I attended a webinar today, "Get Paid to Write: How to Land Paying Gigs Writing Copy and Content". I also finished chapter 19 of my manuscript. I'm getting so close. I love writing. It's my passion without a shadow of a doubt. If anyone knows a good photographer that could do some "glamor shots" for me for relatively inexpensive you'd be my hero.
Worked on my book a little bit today. Probably not as much as I should have, but I did. And I'm starting to feel more and more accomplished each day. It's a good feeling.
I've been working my butt off to get this book done. It's harder than it looks. LOL
