I find myself disagreeing with 99% of the articles that get sent to me every week or so through this site. Why? Because after 28 years as a writer and having my own stuff published, I not only know a few things about the business and writing in general, I know what doesn't actually work and what does, including knowing when someone is full of crap and is just looking to toot their own horn, which is what I am finding a LOT of from these articles.
I would not dare to presume to tell Anne Rice how to make her novels better because she has been there, done that for a far greater amount of time than I and is far more successful a writer than I. But what amazes me is the amount of teenage writers who think they know so much more than someone who has been there, done that and been a far more successful a writer than they. Think about it before you get critique happy next time.
Doing their job, or abusing their power? Why is it that I only got noticed after my articles suddenly gained popularity? I feel another blog article coming on.
I'm finding all the junk mail I receive on this site to be utterly useless. What I am finding, however, is a lot of 'you did/got this wrong' problems to blog about.

Work continues on Immortal Sins, the second novel in the Before the Sun Rises series. This series is shaping up to be between 7 and 9 novels long.
