Writing.com, wow I feel like I found my escape world. Which one is yours?

I will, thank you so much for such a great gesture ☺️
Welcome to WdC, Ghostwriter! WdC is DEFINITELY my escape! In fact, I have a paper due today that isn't even half done and where am I? *Blush* *Laugh*

Be sure to check out all the fun activities and contests under Community (on the left side of the screen of your computer) and then click Activities or click Contests or any of the other links on there. You (probably) won't break WdC, so click around. *Rolling*

Another place to check out is the Community Newsfeed. When you click Newsfeed on the left, it automatically takes you to your Personal Newsfeed. Here you will see official WdC stuff and things posted by anyone whose plus sign you have clicked at least once (but preferably twice). Along the top, you will see View the Community Newsfeed. Click that and you'll see what EVERYONE is posting on the Newsfeed (within your rating limit), not just your tiny corner of WdC. *Delight* Scroll, Like, comment, and start making friends. When you find a person you want to keep track of, double click (the preferred one) their plus until you see the megaphone. This makes you a fan of theirs. Some people, like me, reward their fans. Others will automatically fan you back. Most do nothing, but it's still good to notify them in case they want to. *Wink* The single click sets them as a favorite of yours. You'll see their notes on the Newsfeed, but they won't know you are following them, thus why becoming a fan is better. For those who reward their fans, this gets you on the list. *Bigsmile* But other than it being public or private, it's all the same on your Personal Newsfeed.

This is what I'm talking about for the plus...

No pressure to double click mine, though you are welcome to, of course. *Angelic* *Bigsmile*

Anyway, get out there and meet people! Oh, and if you find an activity you want to keep up with, don't double click the plus on the bitem (big item) link like you see below.

(That's my challenge--you're welcome to join--I'm teaching AND advertising. *Laugh*)

You have to go into the item and double click the plus in the upper right corner, not the one by the person's name. Otherwise, you are just fanning that person, not the item. *Wink*

Anyway, welcome! *Heart*
Don't be scared by Schnujo's Doing NaNoWriMo? Author Icon's gigantic comment either. *Bigsmile* Writing.com is a home away from home for most of us which means you'll fit right in.

If you need anything, can't find something you're looking for, just ask.

And welcome to the world of writers!
