The countdown for NaNoWriMo 2010 has begun at my house. I made flyers today and delivered them to the library and my sisters. Tomorrow, I will take flyers to some local restaurants. My new file box is ready. Last week I stocked up on notebooks for the year at Wal-Mart. My family has been informed that I love them, and I will return, but not before December 1. I think I will go do the October Vocabulary Challenge in prep for the coming month! |
Today I did absolutely nothing....but write. I actually started yesterday, I wrote all day, today I edited and posted to a vocabulary contest. I read a poem that left me confused and looked for one I treasured from my past. I can't seem to remember the poem, but I remember the names Winkin and Blinkin and Nod. The rhythm soothes me and I would love to read it again. |
Once again my days are slipping away. The thing I want to do eludes me and life keeps pulling me into the abyss. I am working on the outline of a novel. While I have considered using it for NaNo, I like the feeling of a crisp, stark white page when I start NaNo. This will be my third year to attempt NaNo, I hope to complete it without distraction. It is almost 1 a.m. I must get to bed. Maybe tomorrow...... |
September 3, 2010 Last night I logged into Writing .com for the first time in over a year. I never intended it to be so long, but time just seemed to slip away. It is the eve of my anniversary and I must sign off for now, but I have a plan for a spitirual novel and I also have plans to follow the Jewish calendar this year observing the Feasts and Holy Days. As a Christian who has been reading the Bible for over 23 years, not as a scholar, but as one seeking to know the inner layers. |
