A lot has changed in the universe since then maybe I could share my thoughts, events and people who have been in my life with others. Even if their lives were-are different. Just so you know, a lot of people aren't going to see your post because they are on their Personal Newsfeed, the default when you click Newsfeed. I encourage you to look at the top of your Personal Newsfeed and click "View the Community Newsfeed" to find what everyone is posting. It's the same thing, but your Personal Newsfeed filters out people you haven't clicked the Plus Sign of.
When you click a person's Plus Sign, if you click it once, you'll see a finger with a string and you've set them as a Favorite of yours. It makes it easier for you to find that person or item in the future. (The item's Plus Sign is in the item, itself, in the upper right corner.) This is private, but you will start seeing people's post on your Personal Newsfeed. If you click the Plus Sign twice, you have become a Fan of theirs. You'll still see their posts, but they will now be notified. Fanning is preferable because then people know you are following them. You'll see the megaphone in place of the Plus Sign. I even sometimes send goodies to my fans, so it's a good thing to fan me.
To start collecting your own fans, you need to make friends on here. Check out the Community Newsfeed and you'll see lots of posts from different people. Like, comment, click items, etc. Start getting to know folks and interacting with them and you'll be getting people clicking your Plus Sign in no time. Then your posts like this will be seen by them, even on their Personal Newsfeed.
