I’d like to stay and write awhile, but Mother Nature calls. And beckons me to the magic of a hilltop high above. Up where the air is fresh and pure with the scent of pine trees tall. Wildflowers add their fragrance with their blessings to it all. The spirit of peace and love found there, calms my troubled mind and fills my thoughts with hope and joy for all of humankind. I do write quite a bit about nature and what's around me. I hope to travel to Thailand and visit some non-touristy places (Isan, in the NorthEast) where I can observe the people (as they are a part of Nature too) and the flat landscape of rice fields and dirt roads. Hopefully it'll remind me of Kansas.
I live in Missoula, Montana surrounded by beautiful mountains now frosted and with beautiful views of the city and river. But... I'm yearning for the green fields of Spring and the wave of wind in the wheat. (I'd like to skip the heat, thank you...)
If you had a blog I'd mention a group of bloggers who are gathering for November prompts at "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS" as you have decades of memories to draw from. They don't bite ... much.
