A question. Without many GP's to offer, how does one get others to notice their writing? Reviews of any kind keep me motivated! Sorry if this is the wrong place for this, still new here.

There is the "The Shameless "Plug" PageOpen in new Window. which can be found by clicking on the Community tab on the left side. You can post up there. I believe that there are also a few groups dedicated to giving out reviews as well.

In my experience, linking to your item here gets a few eyes. And in the past, I have come across a number of individuals who will review one of your pieces after you've reviewed theirs.

I don't know if other people do this, but I review any requests that expire before I can get to them for free.

On the home page there is a section called "recent review requests." Don't spam it - there is a limit - but anything you want to be reviewed can be offered there and it costs nothing.

GPs motivate some Reviewers to take a look. I personally have not found a link between GPs and getting Reviews.

Contest entries attract Contest Entry Reviewers.
You can request reviews:

"Please ReviewOpen in new Window.
"Plug Page HelpOpen in new Window.

Make sure that you assign Genres and keywords to your items. They'll be found more quickly by Search Bar.
