Just so you know, since you are new, not that many people will see what you post. When someone clicks to go to their newsfeed, they only see their Personal Newsfeed. That is only stuff written by people they have fanned or favorited--meaning they clicked the Plus sign by that person's button. Schnujo's Doing NaNoWriMo? (No pressure to click mine. Just showing you what I'm talking about. ) Anyway, if no one has clicked your Plus button, almost no one will see your posts.
The only way to see other posts is to click the "View the Community Newsfeed" button at the top part of your Personal Newsfeed. I'm working to get more folks to do that, but very few people do. It's not that everyone is ignoring newbies. They just never see them.
If you want to make friends on here, click that button to see the Community Newsfeed, then start scrolling down and liking people's posts and commenting on things you have an opinion about. Soon people will start to notice you and will respond back and you'll be on your way to making friends. beginnerwrath is the perfect example of that. She's been here like 9 days and is already making lots of friends. Even comments like "Congratulations" or "I'm sorry" will help you build relationships with strangers. Of course, more words is often better (says the person who can't just say "hi").
Anyway, WELCOME!!!
