I have quite a few books and other writings in progress yet I doubt I shall become much of a name with them. Confidence is key but I’ve lost the lock.

I'd love to read one of those writings. If you lack confidence, you have little to lose and much gain by getting reactions from readers. Reader reactions keep me motivated--at least they are reading what I've written!
