Second concept to The Insatiable Beauty Queen will be a reverse little mermaid story. In The Little Mermaid, Ariel is a mermaid that wants to be a human. In TIB, Anastasia is a human with mermaid DNA. When she discovers this, she will have an overwhelming need to travel into the ocean. Ocean travel has been made highly accessible to humans. Not only can you travel the ocean by ship, but you can travel under the water to the growing underwater cities associated with each state. Humans are able to actually LIVE underwater. The oceans sea creatures have been deeply discovered and mermaids, dragons, sirens and alien fish are not considered fiction in this universe. Mermaids and sirens cannot be employed outside of the water, but humans can be employed to work in underwater cities. The ocean will also host portals that allow time travel to be possible. These are all considerably high pay bracket activities. The Earth is very open now and a lot is being explored. There are also known cities/worlds underground, and everything is connected. Free time travel exists as well if you can locate an unsupervised portal. "Gatewatchers" which are in charged of guarding portals, are either AI robotics or military. Robots are very normal to have. Majority of maids and assistants are AI during this time period. Majority of technology is created using witchcraft and alchemy. Witches are a protected species in this realm as well. These are just some of the basic plot points that we have developed so far.

The Magic Remote (depicted from "Click" the universal remote comedy with Adam Sandler) The Magic Remote is much more powerful and much darker. The Magic Remote does not have an exact name quite yet -- maybe "The Device". TMR will be able to pause time, rewind time and fast forward time. So when you rewind or fast forward you are time traveling. All of the features come with limited amounts of time, and anything extra is a hefty fee. To use the magic remote, you'll have to undergo and invasive procedure -- think of the grain episode from Black Mirror. There's no projector that pops up when a user activates a feature. Whatever feature used will be seen through only the user's eyes. The User is only able to affect their own time space. Example, if you would like to fast forward your morning because you are running late for work, you will be able to fast forward yourself, but unless your child is apart of your subscription plan, well you won't be able to fast forward them. Time will be perceived differently from the child's eyes and the user (the parent) will be on "auto pilot". No one else will be aware that the user is manipulating time. If you are due to have a dinner with your wife's parents, and decide to fast forward past this dinner - well the dinner will still happen at the normal time, you will just perceive that time went by quickly. You will be on auto pilot during the dinner. It will cost extra to replay what exactly was said or done during the moments "lost". The User will pay a hefty down payment for the device and pay a monthly bill. Similar to when an iphone is purchased, the customer does not pay full price, just a down payment. Unlike Adam Sandler's device, this magic remote will be rather small and if lost, replacement will be the full cost of the lost remote. You are able to rewind memories and replay moments without freezing time. However, it's best to replay moments in private -as if anyone communicates with you, you will be on autopilot. It costs extra to record the moments that happen while you are using TMR.Family plans are available so that time manipulation can affect more people.Like when humans begin using a new product on the market, it's uncertain what longterm affects products may cause.The remote is similar to this, the creator of the remote does not know what time manipulation from the remote does to the universe. This will be a major plot focus in The Insatiable Beauty Queen, written by Alexis M. Lawrence. Story indevelopment
