Just read your response to the Newsletter question of ‘Do you know who you are?” I am in my eighties and I think we have been sharing the same shoes and walking the same roads. Maybe even the same timeline. You asked if other introverts are magnets for the selfish. Yes !! It is a constant fight to keep the boundaries of self-preservation in place. But we have to. Makes me sad that it is so. They see our strength and want a free bite. Your Garden is your refuge..mine is painting. Only recently using my words. As an extreme introvert it is hard to be vulnerable but here I am, as you said, so old and strong I am afraid of nothing. If you ever want introvert words, drop me a note. |
This is late, my apologies to the wonderful Anonymous persons who sent me GP on 9/7 and 8/16 (my birthday ) I've been dealing with so many things and these really warmed my heart, thank you again |
Where are you?
Until less than a week ago,
I would leave my home and visit the local book store, where there's a coffee shop area inside. Many people go there and sit and browse magazines and books. It turned out to b a great place to meet people and converse about what we were reading, while staying cool
I just wish they had beds. Haha jk. I was very tired from not getting enough sleep.
